Rollaway Rentals – Rules & Guidelines

To ensure safe, efficient, and fair service for all our customers, please review and follow the rules below when renting a roll-off dumpster.

📦 1. Placement & Delivery

• Please mark or clear the area where you’d like the dumpster placed before delivery.

• Ensure the surface is flat, solid, and clear of overhead wires or tree branches.

• Driveways, gravel pads, or compacted surfaces are best.

• Rollaway Rentals is not responsible for damage to lawns, driveways, or surfaces due to weight or placement of dumpsters.

• Once delivered, do not move the dumpster yourself — contact us if relocation is needed.

🚫 2. Prohibited Items

For safety, environmental, and legal reasons, the following items cannot be placed in the dumpster:

• Paint, solvents, or oil

• Gasoline, propane tanks, or fuel containers

• Tires or car batteries

• Asbestos, chemicals, or hazardous waste

• Refrigerators, air conditioners, or freezers with Freon

• Large electronics (TVs, computers, monitors)

• Liquids of any kind

• Medical or biohazard waste

If you’re unsure about an item, call or text us before disposal.

⚖️ 3. Load Level & Weight

• Do not fill above the top edge of the dumpster. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely hauled and will result in extra fees.

• Keep all materials inside and level with the top rail.

• Heavy materials (dirt, concrete, shingles, brick, etc.) should be kept below halfway full to prevent exceeding the weight limit.

• Exceeding weight limits may result in additional landfill or overage fees.

⏰ 4. Rental Period & Pick-Up

• Standard rental price is per day- if you need more days- just let us know!

• Need more time? Just let us know — we offer flexible extensions for a small daily fee.

• Call or text when you’re ready for pickup.

• We are closed over the weekend; so if you rent on Friday, you will have to include at least 3 days until Monday.

• The dumpster must be accessible and free of obstructions (vehicles, materials, gates, etc.) on the scheduled pickup day.

💳 5. Payment & Fees

• Payment is due before or at delivery unless prior arrangements are made.

• Additional fees may apply for:

  • Overweight loads

  • Overfilled dumpsters

  • Extended rental time

  • Travel outside standard service area

  • Prohibited items found in the load

🔥 6. Safety Reminders

• No burning or open flames in or near the dumpster.

• Do not climb or play inside or on top of dumpsters.

• Keep children and pets away from the area during delivery and pickup.

🌎 7. Environmental Responsibility

Rollaway Rentals takes pride in keeping the New River Valley clean.
Whenever possible, materials are sorted and recycled responsibly. Please do your part by keeping trash, yard debris, and construction waste separate when you can.
